Hi Liam, we are on the same page with this. It seems so obvious that these new ads are targeting teens and worse, kids even younger. I am also of the era when you could buy the gum that looked like a cigarette. I have noticed though that stores around me have really cracked down on selling cigarettes to anybody without ID. They even scan their license. So hopefully, that will deter underage kids from being able to buy the gummy drugs.

Thanks @ Davis! It was pretty bad. But I do agree. Social media is here to stay. Though now I hear TikTok is being banned in Montana. So maybe this is the start of a new era. I’m sure there will be a lot of discussion about free speech if more states ban them.

It seems like nowadays, anyone can be cancelled for expressing an unpopular opinion or making a mistake, regardless of the context or intent behind their words or actions. I think cancelling people is a bad way to deal with things and I fear it’s only going to get worse.

I had a terrible experience on social media when a group of users started cyberbullying me. It was hurtful and scary, and it made me question whether social media is worth the risk.
